New website for The Lock Whisperer - Locksmiths in Woking
Posted on 18th August 2017
Ultion key specialists The Lock Whisperer launch their new website with the intention of growing the website as their business does with the flexible Itseeze Max website.
The Lock Whisperer is a family run locksmiths based in Woking, providing cover to clients in Woking, Guildford and the surrounding areas.
The remit was to create a website that would detail their services as a Ultion Key expert (this is a single key system ideally suited for householders, landlords and local authorities) which provides unparalleled levels of security and lockdown capability when forced entry is affected.
The website design brief required the generation of graphics, incorporation of video and other media, and provide the flexibility to expand with new content as the locksmith services evolve, ultimately to provide on line ordering of replacement keys via an ecommerce facility, which is an easy add on to any it'seeze Max website.
Addition of video clips to the website
Including video on the new website was a simple task, the Itseeze editing suite allows the inclusion of both Youtube and Vimeo videos, by simply placing the video component in the right place on the page and adding the video url in the pop up menu accessible when the video component has been added.
Video is then streamed on demand, or can be set to play automatically when the page is loaded. Streaming video reduces the website server bandwidth requirements.
Creating graphics, adding alt text and linking to external websites
Having created graphics in photoshop, each industry image needed to link to the appropriate page on the external website.
The it'seeze editing suite enables you to quickly link any text or graphics to any page or anchor point on your website, or link to an external page by specifying the web address, all by clicking on the image in editing mode.
In a similar manner, the image alt text is added providing search engines with contextual content to correctly associate the image with keyword rich text.
